Purpose
System of protecting and homing hurdles which prevents amphibians, reptiles and other little animals such as frogs, newts and toads from dying during their migration, which escalate during early spring and after pouring rains. Reducing the death rate of mentioned above animals is possible by dint of two basic features, which those hurdles keep - they stop moving chaps and change the direction of their motion, homing them simultaneously at the transitions which allows to cross the road safely.
Description
Homing hurdles for amphibians and little animals are composed of basic parts and special joining parts. Joining parts ensure of robustness of construction, which minimalize filling with ground and overgrowing by plants and protects little animals from clinching. Hurdles ensure protection from overstepping the top edge of the part thanks to used roof installed at the angle. Application of the track it means level integrated shelf with main hurdle wall improve efficiency of homing animals and prevent the surface of the ground adjoined to fence walls from encroaching. Hurdles guarantee of stability, thanks to usage of special posts and minor weight of prefabricated elements. They are lightweight and easy to install. They generate low costs of maintenance and building and provide with longlasting durability due to protection from UV. It do not give in to deformations in -30/+40 degrees temperature range.
Montage
Fence montage needs to be done according to project documentation, SST and in step with manufacturer instruction. If the project documentation don't say differently, it means the endings of each of a fence line should be made in "U" or ">" form making it impossible for herpetofauna to pass through the fence. Plate parameters can be adjusted to given project, in case of thickness as well as in case of angulation of particular parts.
